One T. The game is Scarlet Skips, after the character Scarlet. Scarlett Skips and Skarlet Skips are common misspellings, and both currently show up as breakout search terms — if you searched one of those, you are in the right place.
Is Scarlet Skips a real game?
Yes. It released on Steam on 3 September 2026 at $4.99 and had 512 user reviews at our last check. The question comes up because the reveal trailer circulated widely as a meme months before launch.
Is Scarlet Skips AI-generated?
Yerk Games has not answered the 26-reply Steam thread that makes this claim, so there is no official statement either way. What can be checked: the YouTube channel behind the game has been posting hand-animated shorts since at least 2018, the character Scarlet appears in those shorts years before the game, and the store page credits a named voice actor, Brenna Thornton Espinosa. We report the argument rather than settle it.
Who made Scarlet Skips?
Yerk Games, an independent developer who is also the animator behind the Yerk YouTube channel. The game is self-published, and the same person directed cutscene animation for other indie projects before this.
Is Scarlet Skips on Switch, PS5, Xbox or mobile?

Is there a demo?
No demo is listed on the store page. The closest free look at the game is the official trailers on the Yerk Games channel and the launch-day playthrough recordings, including a 55-minute uncut one.

The Steam Community forum for the game is the busiest place, and it is where the launch-week arguments about content volume and AI live. Yerk Games also posts on YouTube and Twitter as YerkDiff. There is no official Discord listed on the store page.
